Science and Industry Laboratory & bdquo; Industry i2030 & ldquo; (RILabi2030) was opened in May in the building of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies - BAS.
RILabi2030 aims to realize the idea of digital integration of science, business and education and supports the implementation of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization of Sofia.
The lab places a strong emphasis on digital skills. This provides an opportunity to show the strengths of Bulgarian researchers and to encourage more young people to choose a career in science.
The opening was accompanied by a presentation of current results of the National Scientific Program & ebd; E-Health in Bulgaria & ldquo; ( e-health) , funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.
The results were presented by a Consortium of Medical University - Sofia, BAS through the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Sofia University & bdquo; St. Kliment Ohridski & ldquo ;, MU-Plovdiv, TU-Sofia, Thracian University - Stara Zagora and MU - Pleven.
The participants got acquainted with the Methodology for ensuring semantic interoperability and data exchange according to European standards, as well as with extraction from unstructured medical records of essential clinical indicators and evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment in patients with diabetes.
